This pattern is 9 pages long and contains loads of photos to help you every step of the way. It is written using American crochet terms.

The pattern contains the details of the materials that I used, but it can be made using materials of your choice! Simply make your cacti using your choice of materials first, then when you know what size they turn out to be, you can source suitable pots!

I used the following list of materials, but this is just a guide as you can use any yarn that you like!:

For the plants, I used DMC Natura ‘Just Cotton’ (4ply / fingering weight) in 4 different shades of green, as well as yellow and red for the flower. I used a 2.5mm hook for all of these sections.

For the soil, I used Bernat Satin (worsted weight) yarn in brown with a 4mm hook.

A small amount of toy stuffing.

4 plant pots - I used terracotta pots that measure 3.6cm wide by 3.1cm tall. I sourced these on ebay.

Some superglue or a hot glue gun.

Other tools you will need are a tapestry needle, some scissors and a stitch marker.
