ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Luiza & Winter is a collaboration with Miss Babs Yarns for a revisited DK version of the Luiza & Maria & Júlia, and it was inspired by my dear aunt Luiza Maria. It calls for their delicious Yowza base, shown here in the Stowaway colorway.

Worked in a delicate lace stitch in DK weight yarn, this wrap will bring sophistication to any outfit, perfect for a night at the opera or a moonlight walk by the Seine.

The pattern is written and charted for your convenience.

SIZE
Approx. 180 cm (70 in) length x 45 cm (18 in) width - easy to modify if needed.

YARDAGE
990 m (1080 yd) of DK weight yarn
Sample in the picture features Miss Babs Yowza DK, 100% superwash merino wool, 512 m/227 g (560 yd/8 oz), in colorway Stowaway

NEEDLES
3.75 mm (US 5), or size needed to obtain gauge

NOTIONS & TOOLS
-2 stitch markers in one colour, 4 markers in a contrasting colour
-blocking tools of your preference
-scissors
-tapestry needle

GAUGE
20 sts x 28 rows in 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) in stockinette stitch after blocking

NOTES
If you prefer a wider shawl you are going to need an additional stitch marker in the same colour as your contrast markers. Adding extra repeats of the lace pattern will affect your width, the final yardage and your wrap length.
