The lustre of the sun lasts until the advent of Maagha (the coldest month). ~ Sanskrit saying
Maagha was an 8th-century Sanskrit poet, and it is also the name of the eleventh month of the Hindu calendar. These mittens are based on the intricate designs of Indian textiles—perfect for knitting with a cup of masala chai during the cold winter months.
You will need:
Set of 5 DPNs, size 2.25 mm
150-200 yds of Main Colour (fingering weight)
150-200 yds of Contrast Colour (fingering weight)
Tapestry needle and 2 scrap pieces of yarn.
Final measurements: 8” (4” across palm)
