Magical Snowflakes Blanket
Flurries of magical snowflakes are captured in a beautiful drift to make this blanket constructed of individual motifs, each incased and joined as the blanket is worked with a decorative border added to compliment the design which shows off the pretty snowflake points at either end.

Yarn
Choose one of the two options below depending on if you wish to use a commercial yarn or ‘yarn advent’ mini skeins in your blanket:
1. Drops Baby Merino
100% Merino Wool / 50g, 173m (190 yards)
Main Colour: 7 balls - White (01)
Contrast Colours: 6 balls, 1 of each following:
Light Turquoise (10), Ice Blue (11), Light Sky Blue (24), Light Lavender (37), Light Sea Green (43), Dew (53)
OR
2 - Advent Minis Yarn
I used Drops Baby Merino for the MC and a mixture of 4ply/fingering yarns for the CC snowflakes.
Approx: 1828 m / 2000 yards in 4ply/fingering yarn.
MC - 1098 m / 1200 yds (Drops Merino)
CC - 732 m / 800 yds (Mini Skeins)
Mini skeins - Approx 4.8g CC yarn used per snowflake.
(4 Snowflakes per mini skein)

3mm (C/D), or size needed to match gauge
