The Maile Socks are the cozy worsted socks of your dreams, with stranded colorwork providing an extra layer of thickness for added warmth. The two-color zigzag pattern, inspired from 200 Fair Isle Motifs: A Knitter’s Dictionary by Mary Jane Mucklestone, knits up quick on size 7 needles and adds some color to your grey winter mornings. Knit top-down, this pattern ensures uninterrupted stranded colorwork from cuff to toe; three stripes stretch down the soles of these socks, providing a path in the round for your contrasting color.
