This is a great crochet pattern for beginners - it is an easy pattern to adapt the finished size and is suitable for any yarn type and weight.

It doesn’t require a lot of yarn so it can be the perfect stash-busting project. It’s also very quick to make - you can make a cowl in one evening!

I used chenille for 2 of my cowls; one in a DK weight and the other in chunky - I give you guidelines how to adapt the size and starting chains so you really can use any type of yarn.
