Maureen O' Scarf & Shawl
This lacy wrap with an Irish flair is the second in my series of patterns inspired by the glamorous stars of the thirties, forties, and fifties. There are instructions for both a dramatic shawl and a smaller scarf.
The body of this pattern has an easy-to-remember two row repeat that looks harder than it is. The first half of the shawl or scarf is crocheted completely, and then the yarn is joined and the second half is worked. So there is no sewing involved, and each half is a mirror image of the other.
Instructions for optional beading. The length of the shawl or scarf is easily adjusted. Pattern is seven pages, including three helpful charts.
Pattern is rated Intermediate.
US terminology is used.
