Meandering Scarf
This fun project is easy to make and has the added bonus of striping colours which is so rewarding when you look back on your progress. The chevrons are made from linen stitch which is so versatile and makes lovely draping crochet fabric.
I have tried to fade the colours in and out by gradually mixing in the next colour. You can, of course, finish one colour before starting another colour. If you prefer the more defined stripes then you go for strong contrasting colours, if you think the gentle stripes are more your thing then chose softer colours (see photos).
You will need:
4.0mm hook
3 skeins of Plump DK in main colour (MC) (shown in Pavlova)
1 ball of Pudding in each of the following colours: Lemon Curd, Fondant Fancy, Marshmallow, Darjeeling, Earl Grey and Damson Jam.
Finished Measurements: 158cm x 23cm
Gauge: 14 dc and 16 rows to 10cm (4”) in pattern
