Men's Ease
A rare night out on the town- gentle, mid 70’s breeze. Relatively low humidity and golden light breaking over the rooftops of the aged brick buildings downtown. People meander over the uneven brick sidewalks, window shopping and scanning menus. The scents of various cuisines are carried on the evening wind, each one a siren song. Smoky, sweet, garlicky, umami. All converge along this stretch of road. Conversation flows easily from strolling strangers, joyful to be out and about. Friendly dogs stop to say hello, waggling enthusiastically as their owner chats in a laid back manner. Glass storefronts are filled with wonderful things like the latest novels, and large canvases full of rugged pine trees along ocean sound. Roosting on rooftops, pigeons coo and gently sing their evening song.
Intended to be worn with 2-6” / 5-12.5 cm positive ease. Size 44.5” / 113 cm modeled with 4”/10 cm positive ease.

Sweater is worked from the top down, flat to start and then joined in the round at front when neckline shaping is completed. Sleeves are placed on hold, body is worked seamlessly in the round. Sleeves are worked seamlessly in the round, & collar is picked up and knit in the round & whipstitched into place.
This version is specifically written for men (or for a more sweatshirty feel if you will!) The armhole depth is deeper, mid back is winder, body is tapered, and neckline closer compared to the women’s version. The women’s version has waist shaping, a more open neck, longer, cuffed sleeves, and a shorter armhole and raglan depth. Perfectly tailored and perfectly mindless.
