Feeling a little retro and wanting some of that space age motif - enjoy this exceedingly warm cardigan as you gaze at the stars!
This is a pattern for a bulky weight colour stranded cardigan. (see below, additional patt) The body is worked flat and the sleeves are worked in the round.
Sts are provisionally cast on before working raglan shaping. Once the raglan shaping is complete the body and each sleeve is worked before collar and button bands.
There are charts for the raglan shaping, separated by size, and a schematic.

Malabrigo Chunky Yarn; Bulky 100% Merino; 100 yds (91m) / 100g
approx. yarn amounts:
MC - 6 (7, 8, 8) 9, 10, 11 (11) skeins
CC1 - 1 (1, 2, 2), 2, 2, 2 (3) skeins
CC2 - 1 (1, 2, 2), 2, 2, 2 (3) skeins
additional tools:
needle to weave in ends, st markers, st holders/waste yarn, 9 - 10 buttons .75 - 1 inch/18 - 25mm in diameter
- Bonus Pattern Included with purchase is the Aran weight Mid Century pattern. It has a bit of a different format, but still includes all Raglan and Body/Sleeve Charts and similar motif. Sample worked in City Tweed HW from Knit Picks. XS (S, M, L) 1X, 2X, 3X (4X) to fit chest- 31 (33.5, 35, 37.75) 40.5, 45.75, 48.5 (51) in/78 (83, 90, 94.5) 101, 114.5, 121 (128) cm with 2 in/5 cm pos ease The colourwork is easily adapted and changed to suit your taste (as seen in some images).
