Midnight in Spring

Midnight in Spring is a generously sized, elongated triangular shawl, knit flat, from the top down. Its gorgeous mosaic pattern is surprisingly simple to knit, using just one color per row to create stunning results.
Inspired by its sister pattern, Meet Me at Midnight, Midnight in Spring is designed for fingering weight yarn and features a simple, but oh so lovely textured beginning, two large scale sections of beautiful mosaic, contrasting bands of open mesh work and an Icelandic bind-off.
The pattern is easily followed, including charts only for the mosaic sections. Not familiar with reading charts? I encourage you to give it a try! Mosaic charts are super simple to follow and the accompanying pattern notes will easily navigate you through to becoming a Chart Reader!
Yarn
Midnight in Spring is lovely all knit up with Plucky’s amazing colors. My sample is knit using two high contrasting shades for the mosaic sections, plus a colored neutral and one bright shade for those pops of colored mesh work. I used a combination of Plucky’s Primo and Bello, but any fingering weight yarn will do!
