The Mireine socks are a pair of lace, mosaïc and textured socks knitted from the cuff down. They feature a twisted ribbing cuff, a lace band in a contrasting colour, a short mosaïc motif and a slipped stitch pattern along the rest of the leg and foot. Each individual technique is a simple motif, making the project a good introduction to lace socks and basic mosaïc knitting.
The pattern includes two heel options as well as charted and written instructions for the motif.

Yarn :
You will need 2 colours of fingering weight sock yarn in the following amounts :
MC : 325 meters – 355 yards
CC : 60 meters – 65 yards
The sample was knit using Regia Premium Merino Yak (400 m – 437 yds / 100 g) in 07505 (MC) and 07508 (CC).

Needles :
2.25 mm (US 1) circular needles or DPNs
or size required to get gauge

Gauge :
31 sts x 44 rnds per 10 cm – 4” in stockinette stitch after blocking

Sizes :
The pattern is written for a 58 (62 / 66), (70 / 74 / 78) stitch count.
18.5 (20 / 21), (22 / 23.5 / 25) cm – 7 ¼ (7 ¾ / 8 ¼), (8 ¾ / 9 ¼ / 9 ¾)“ finished circumference.
Measure your foot at its widest point under the toes and choose a size with up to 2.5 cm – 1” negative ease.

Les chaussettes Mireine sont une paire de chaussettes en dentelle, mosaïque et texture tricotées des côtes vers la pointe. Avec des côtes torses, une bande dentelle en couleur contrastante, un motif de mosaïque court et un dessin de mailles glissées sur le reste du pied, c’est un projet où chaque technique est simple : une bonne introduction aux chaussettes en dentelle et aux bases du tricot mosaïque.
