Ready to turn those vibrant skeins into a symphony of stitches?
Mix Tape, your ultimate companion for those bewitching, busy skeins lounging in your stash. Whether they’re pulsating with neon hues or oozing retro vibes in oranges, yellows, and browns, Mix Tape has got you covered.
Crafted with versatility in mind, this pattern offers two captivating sides to choose from: Side A, a boomerang shawl, and Side B, a top-down triangular shawl. Dive into your stash with confidence as Mix Tape effortlessly transforms those variegated wonders into stunning works of art. With the freedom to customise size and yarn weight, this pattern invites you to dance to your own rhythm and create a masterpiece that’s uniquely you. Let Mix Tape be the soundtrack to your knitting journey, where every stitch sings your style.
Mix Tape focuses on two triangular shawl shapes with the same pattern stitch! Side A features a triangle that’s worked sideways along the bias. With three stitches added every four rows, it grows steadily, creating a beautifully flowing shape. The result is a lush, elegant accessory with effortless drape and movement.
Side B is a top-down triangular shawl that begins at the centre top and gradually expands outward, forming its signature shape. Stitch increases along the centre spine and outer edges create its graceful growth, adding both structure and elegance. The result is a beautifully flowing shawl with a timeless, effortless drape.
This project is worked flat, and it includes written directions throughout, accompanied by charts for pattern motifs, and a shaping schematic to guide you through each step. The instructions are broken down into clear, easy-to-digest sections to prevent overwhelm, ensuring a smooth knitting experience.
To further assist you, a link is provided that contains additional resources, such as a pattern progress tracker and a technique playlist. These tools give you everything you need to create your masterpiece confidently.
