ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Mixa beret is worked in Half Fisherman’s rib and from the
bottom up on circular needles.
You will start your work with a tubular cast-on, then work a few
rounds in 1/1 rib and continue in Half Fisherman’s rib.
Then you will have to work the increases on the low section, and
work the decreases on the mid section.
Finally, finish with a few rounds in stockinette stitch.
To accentuate the separation between the bottom and top of the
beret, make a seam on the wrong side of the work.

SIZES
One size fits all. It will fit the following head sizes, 56 / 57 / 58 / 59 cm.

YARN AND MATERIALS
Approx. 65 g of coton Catona, from Scheepjes (50 g = 125 m)
Colors: Ombre pourpre - N° 394 - Bleu poudré - N° 384
Circular needles 2,5 mm 60 or 80 cm
Double pointed needles 2,5 mm (optional)
Tapestry needle

Catona: 26 sts x 35 r = 10 x 10 cm k. in Stockinette st., c.n. 3 mm
Catona in this pattern: 17 sts x 42 r = 10 x 10 cm in Half
Fisherman’s rib, c.n. 2,5 mm

STITCHES
1/1 rib: Knit 1/ Purl 1
There are several ways to knit the Half Fisherman’s rib. To follow this pattern as well as possible, I advise you to use the
recommended method.
Half Fisherman’s rib in the round:
Round 1: Knit 1/ Knit 1 below
Round 2: Purl 1 below / Purl 1

A PROPOS DU PATRON
Le béret Mixa se travaille en côtes anglaise et de bas en haut sur
des aiguilles circulaires
Tu débutera ton ouvrage par un montage tubulaire, puis tricoter
quelques rangs en côtes 1/1 et continuer en côtes anglaises.
Il faudra ensuite travailler les augmentations sur la partie basse,
puis travailler les diminutions sur la partie centrale.
Enfin, terminer par quelques rangs en jersey.
Afin d’accentuer la séparation entre le bas et le haut du béret,
faire une couture sur l’envers de l’ouvrage.

Taille unique. Il conviendra aux tours de tête suivants, 56 / 57 / 58 / 59 cm.
