When I was designing these wrist-warmers and had finished my first sample, I put one on and asked my darling hubby what he thought.

Having had a lukewarm interest while I was working on my sample he sighed (just a little bit as I was interrupting his football) and turned, saw them and exclaimed with a smile:
‘Cool, they look like gauntlets!’

The Gauntlets are worked flat using the Foundation Double Crochet cast on and joined together using dc.

Size - Women’s Medium - with a choice of 2 lengths: standard (long)
Hand circumference (measured over thumb join, where you would normally wear the gauntlets); 22-23 cm / 8.75-9 in. Wrist circumference; 16 -17 cm / 6.25-6.75 in. Arm circumference 25.5-26.5 cm / 10-10.5 in.
