This pattern is intended to show off a range of stitches, presented in a modern way. Experienced crocheters, as well as makers just starting their crochet journey will find something new, learn something new and create a gorgeous throw that has the potential of becoming an heirloom piece.

My intent with this pattern was to use as many different stitches and techniques as possible - encouraging makers to try/learn something new - yet still maintaining a cohesive, modern, fresh feel. This piece does not have every single technique included, but should act as a springboard to learning new exciting techniques.

The blanket was designed with four colours:

A main colour
A dark colour that compliments and highlights the two complimentary colours
Colour 1: a darker shade of colour 2
Colour 2: a lighter shade of colour 1

However, the colour recommendations above only serves as a guide. That is the beauty of crochet… interpreting a pattern, and choosing colours that are uniquely you.
