Ready to knit your own statement scarf? This oversized mohair colour block scarf may just be the thing.
Okay, I’m not talking ‘Lenny Kravitz scarf’-oversized, but still ;)

What I love about this scarf is that you knit it on big needles, it’s double stranded (HELLO fluffiness-factor!), and it’s mostly garter stitch, so this project will absolutely fly off your needles.

Skill level
If you know how to knit and purl, you can knit this scarf!

Yarn
Scheepjes Mohair Rhythm (70% Mohair/30% Micro; 200m/218yd per 25g ball)

Cha Cha (689) x3 balls (Red)
Robotic (674) x2 balls (Grey)
Foxtrot (673) x3 balls (Pink)

Needles / Gauge
I knit this shawl on 6mm needles. The goal is to get a fabric that is nice and fluffy. With 6mm needles, I got a gauge of approximately 17 sts and 20 rows over garter stitch. Please note the yarn is held double at all times.

Size
If you follow the pattern as it is written, your finished scarf will be approx. 260 (102”) long and 30cm (12”) wide. I’ve included instructions on how to make the scarf shorter if you wish.

If you have any questions regarding the pattern you can ask them in my Facebook group, and of course this is also a great place to share your pictures. Happy knitting!
