the monte rosa cardigan with its beautiful lace/cable panel
on both fronts and back, is more on the classic side,
but the contrast color gives it a modern touch …

The cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down.
Knitting starts from a provisional CO. Shoulder parts are worked first,
then sts are picked up for sleeve caps. From this point fronts, sleeves
and back are worked simultaneously top down to sleeve separation,
where sleeve sts are placed on hold to work the body in one piece
to end. After finishing the body, sleeve sts are picked up again to work
the sleeves in the round top down to the cuffs. Collar sts are picked up
around the neck. After finishing the collar, button bands are picked up
along the fronts.

Charts and written instructions for cable/lace panels are provided
in the pattern.
