DESCRIPTION
This bag just screams to be filled with beautiful things and simple but elegant ingredients - beach essentials, flowers, fresh herbs, lemons, and skeins of yarn…lots of skeins of yarn. The Monterosso Market Bag uses bulky yarn and is knit flat in one piece and seamed together in the end to create your finished object. The pattern was inspired by the town of Monterosso, Italy, one of the Cinque Terre villages on the northern coast of Italy.

SKILLS
This is a advanced beginner to intermediate level knitting pattern, and the techniques involved are knit, purl, sl1p, sl1k, psso, and yo. All Frosia Knits patterns are written in standard US terms.

SIZING
one size fits all
Finished Height: Approximately 17 inches
Finished Bottom Width: Approximately 15 inches
(Measurement does not include handle)

You will need 3 skeins of Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick Super Bulky yarn (80% Acrylic, 20% Wool). Each skein is 106 yards. Total yardage approximately 218 yrds. Any super bulky you have in your stash should work as long as you check your gauge!

Gauge: 9 stitches and 12 rows = 4 inches x 4 inches
