Moorside Infinity Scarf
Moorside Infinity is a stylish, textured infinity scarf.
Wear it long and loopy, or wear it double-wrapped for that extra warmth, or even just wear it as a simple straight scarf (without joining ends).
The Moorside stitch pattern is complex-looking, but it is simple in its application. This makes for a uniquely original stitch pattern that results in a lacy appearance, but produces an extremely cosy and stretchy fabric.
The scarf also has a delightfully pleasing reverse side, so your scarf will look great whichever way you wear it!
It is knitted flat with a provisional cast on from the bottom up. It is finished by grafting together both ends (or not, your choice!). To help you, the pattern also contains links to YouTube tutorials.
Tools: 5mm (US 8) needle (or size required to get gauge), Waste yarn & Crochet hook for Provisional cast on (optional), 2 stitch markers, Measuring tape and Yarn needle for grafting and weaving in ends.
Size & resizing: Finished, looped and blocked size is: 18cm wide x 62.5cm long (7” x 24.5”). If you want to make this piece a straight scarf, then use any standard cast on method, work the piece to 170cm (67”) or your desired length and bind off using any standard bind off method.
