Moose socks
About knitting Moose socks …
The socks fits a mans foot from size 9 (42) and up. That doesn’t mean you can’t make socks in other sizes. If you need more or less space, you can use thinner / thicker yarn and needles. The length of the foot is individual.
The socks are completely traditionally, and are worked from leg to toe. The heel flap is reinforced with slipped stitches, and is subsequently shaped with a gusset that lies under the foot, and not in the side, to avoid breaking the large moose pattern. The toe is shaped by decreases placed above / below the foot, and not in the sides.
