Mount Marcy is the tallest peak in the Adirondak Mountains of New York. It’s jagged rocks and clear lakes are the inspiration behind the motif for this sweater and cardigan.
This round yoke sweater/cardigan features a geometric pattern radiating down the yoke and a repeated motif throughout the body and sleeves. This sweater/cardigan is worked top-down starting with the ribbing for the collar and short rows which are worked flat. After the yoke, the body and sleeves are separated and worked separately, all finished with more ribbing.
The cardigan has a steek panel down the center front. A button band is added to each side before the steek is secured and cut open.

Both patterns are written so that you can mix-and-match plain body and sleeves or colorwork for the body and sleeves.
Charts are provided in both light MC and dark MC for ease of reading.
