GENERAL INFORMATION

My Necklace Sweater is a typical round yoke sweater knitted top down. The construction provides for minimum ease as it is intended to be form flattering. Still the instructions for body shaping can be easily omitted to give it more room and be suitable for any kind of body structure.

To improve the fitting an elevation is worked in short rows right after the folded (double) neckband.

The round yoke is embellished by two different mosaic type patterns, resembling a pearl necklace. The jewelry set is completed by the “bracelet” variation of the same patterns right before the sleeves hem.

Instructions are written only. Suitable for adventurous/advanced beginners and/or intermediate knitters.

YARN

The pattern is intended for a 4ply / sport yarn, where any tweed effect though not required, will add to a simple yet intricate look.
