My Secret BFF Socks were inspired by my kids, who are now in that age where they like to pretend they have an invisible, secret best friend. They both would also love to have a cat as a pet, that is how the idea of a shadow cat pattern came to my mind.
My Secret BFF Socks are worked from the toe up, featuring an afterthought heel, using shadow knitting technique (a.k.a. illusion knitting), which makes the cat motifs visible from a certain angle only.
