Luxury yarn and simple stitches become pretty, retro wristlets with a little bit of cross stitch.

US #2 (2.75 mm) circular needles, 32“ long or longer for magic loop, or US #2 (2.75 mm) DPNS; or size needed to obtain gauge
Malabrigo Silkpaca (70% baby alpaca, 30% silk, 420 yds/395 m, 50g/1.75oz skein), colour Ravelry Red; 1 skein
Malabrigo Lace (100% merino wool, 470 yds/430 m, 50g/1.75oz skein), colours Dark Earth, Natural, Olive, Sauteme; oddments

32 sts and 36 rounds in 4” (10 cm) square in stockinette after blocking

small, medium, large; 7, 8, 9” (18, 20, 23 cm) circumference unstretched and 12” (30.5 cm) long
