The pants are knit in the round from the top down and features a folded waistband with elastic and I-cord ties, straight legs, and a wide ribbed cuff with contrast colored edge at the bottom.

Remember that knitted pants are elastic, and they will stretch as you use them. Keep that in mind when choosing your size.

Saga from Filcolana is 100% wool, 50 gr. = 300 m
Alva from Filcolana is 100% alpaca, 25 gr. = 175m

Gauge
23 sts x 30 rounds = 10x10 cm in pattern on larger needles with two strands held to-gether.
The swatch was knitted in the round and washed before measuring

Needles and notions
Circular needles 3 and 3,5 mm (40 and 60/80 cm)
Stitch markers 6 cm wide elastic for the waist band (length based on your own waist measurement)

For size XS/S: double pointed needles 3 and 3,5 mm – or long circular needles for magic loop
