Nani
Nani-shawl is first knitted sideways to form a long shallow triangle. The border is knit using the Old Shale lace pattern after picking up stitches from the lower edge of the triangle. The traditional Hap shawl yarn overs form a smooth upper edge.
Yarn:
110-130 g of fingering weight yarn, 420-460 m/ 460-505 yds per 100 g in 6 colours.
Main colour 75 g, 7 g of CC1, CC2 and CC3, 9-10 g of CC4 and CC5.
The sample was knitted with Jamieson´s of Shetland Spindrift, 100% wool, 105 m/115 yds per 25 g and Jamieson & Smith 2 ply jumper weight, 100% wool, 114 m/125 yds per 25 g.

MC: 2 ply, 77 Black
CC1: Spindrift 343 Ivory
CC2: Spindrift 268 Dog Rose
CC3: 2ply, 72 Mix
CC4: Spindrift 572 Redcurrant
CC5: Spindrift 595 Maroon
The yardage is an estimate, you might want to have and extra skein of the MC.

Gauge:
16 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm/ 4 x 4 inches in garter stitch after blocking
