Napoleon is worked in stockinette, and the legs, body and head are knitted in one piece to minimise seaming. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the doll is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 30g in each colour

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, and small buttons to decorate the jacket.

SIZES
One size only - The doll is 17cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
