These comfortable socks have a charm all of their own. Knit in a twisted rib pattern, they form to your feet for maximum warmth and comfort. They are knit from the cuff down, with a standard heel flap and wedge toe, making them ideal socks for the first time sock knitter. More advanced knitters will appreciate them as “TV Knitting”, as the sequence of twisted stitches is easy to memorise, yet results in socks that are impressive enough for gifting.

Due to the stretchy nature of ribbing, choose your size based on your preferred sock fit. If you like snug socks, cast on following the S/M directions. If you like looser fitting socks, choose the larger size. This pattern is easily altered for longer/shorter legs, and larger or smaller foot lengths. Two skeins of Capretta should be enough for most foot sizes. (I wear a womens size 10US, and had a fair amount of yarn left).
