Nili
Nili is a pullover sweater featuring a boxy shape along with a corrugated rib patterned yoke. The neckline is finished with an i-cord, while the sleeves and body are finished with a broken rib pattern. Cozy and with generous positive ease, Nili is knit with worsted weight yarn making it a quick knit. I was nspired by Persian architecture and tile work to create a sweater that echoed archways and columns while using the colors most prominently featured in some of these ancient buildings. Nili is Persian for the word ‘indigo’.
