Oinker Pig
This PDF pattern is full of instructions and photos to make this simple animal. He (or she if you’re so inclined) is constructed of a body, snout, two ears, two arms, two legs and a curly tail. Stitched in single crochet and stuffed with polyester fiberfill, he is quick to make and provides quite a hefty dose of instant gratification and beginner confidence. I recommend some experience in working in rounds and marking stitches so you don’t lose your place, but otherwise, this is a very easy pattern.
What you need to know: working single crochet in the round, slip stitch, chain. Easy Peasy. Finished pig sits about 7” tall, not including legs. No gauge is specified - work evenly and consistently to form a firm fabric so that stuffing will not poke through.
