Olivier
Recently, I have seen quite a few of them: sewn stuffed animals that consist of various differently colored, and differently structured fabrics, patchwork like. These types of cuddlies are the inspiration for Olivier. Olivier consists of a number of different parts, which are all knit together, so that, when finished knitting, you do not need to sew the parts together. Olivier is knit circularly on dpn’s or on a circular needle. Some special techniques are explained separately at the end of the pattern. This pattern can be knitted from any yarn in any weight; the yarn weight determines the eventual size.
