One 50g ball of recommended yarn in each of two colours (100g total). However the weight of the completed sample beret was 43g.
Needles:
Four 9-inch dpns, size 2.25 or 2.5 mm (UK and Canadian size 13 ; US size 1) OR
Same size circular needle 40 cm long, with four 7-inch dpns in same size for finishing centre.
