DESCRIPTION
The Papavero Square is an easy double crochet blanket square with a poppy flower slip stitched on to the center. Both the flower and square are easy to make and customize to your colors and decor.

Materials
3.5mm US Size E-4 crochet hook, or hook needed to meet gauge, yarn needle, measuring tape, scissors.
#3 dk weight yarn; Paintbox Cotton DK yarn (100% cotton, 1.7 oz/50g, 137 yds/125m); colors : (1) racing green - A, (1) pillar red - B, and (1) ivory - C, or 47 yd/43m of each color in comparable yarn.

Finished Dimensions
Complete square = 10”/25.5cm x 10”/25.5cm
Flower = 3.5”/9cm across

GAUGE
2”/5cm x 2”/5cm = 8 dc x 5 rnds of dc
Rnds 1-2 = 2”/5cm across
