Pappus Hat
The Pappus Hat draws its inspiration from the journey of the dandelion. As the feathery pappus of its seeds are blown into the breeze, each weightless sail drifts through the sky, careening over the land to an unknown and exciting destination.
Pappus is a fitted cap that features a slip stitch pattern in the body and simple crown decreases. The brim is knit holding one strand of fingering weight yarn and one strand of mohair (or suri) held double, and the body is worked using alternating rows of mohair and fingering to create a delicate slip stitch pattern.

NOTES
If using an MC and CC that are low contrast, you may decide that you need to double up your mohair for the body of the hat in order for the CC to really shine. Swatching is the perfect opportunity to see how your colors will play, and you can adjust accordingly from there.
