A soft squishy cowl can be yours with only knitting stitches used, no purling! The pattern is repetitive and relaxing.

Wondering what to do with that one skein of colorful yarn. Match it up with a solid color and start stitching.

This is a very adaptable project that works with a variety of yarn weights. Want a wider cowl, cast on more stitches in multiples of 6, want a narrower cowl, reduce stitches by multiples of 6. In one sample shown the cowl is twisted and looped twice. The second model is a single loop without a twist. Extra yarn may be needed to increase width or length.

The only finishing work will be joining the ends upon completion. Two options are given for finishing the cowl.

One model used partial skeins of 2 contrasting variegated colors of Manos del Uruguay Marla. Colors used were Poolside and Flamingo, along with 3 Skeins of Rowan Alpaca Soft DK in Black.

Second model used 1 skein of Juniper Moon Farm Cumulus, and 1 partial skein of Juniper Moon Farm Cumulus Dappled.
