The winter holiday season is approaching quickly, and many celebrations can include parties, dressing up, bright colors, wine, and music. My Festivia collection includes designs that subtly reflect the season

Quick knits are great for gifts, and for relaxing on holiday. Bust your stash with this simple cowl, a sister design to my Copperbranch shawl. Worked sideways and seamed at the back neck, it features a chevron lace border with small bobbles, and the top edge of the cowl is turned down toward the inside. Use fingering or light sport yarns that will produce a similar gauge, and work from a chart or the full written instructions. Be sure to adjust yardage requirements when making substitutions.
