Pendennis Club
Pendennis Club was designed to showcase Jill Draper’s Kingston Yarn. I really loved the look when I combined two of these stunning tweeds with a pop of Rockwell for a litlte marled accent. The tweedy flecks in the background colors, when paired with the extra shading in the Rockwell, make this combo so beautifully rich!!
In terms of design, I love how the delicate geometry of an accent stripe plays off the elegant leaves of the larger motif across the body of the sweater here. The motifs are placed intentionally so the color shift lines up perfectly from body to sleeve. I’ve designed my sweater with a hip-length and a boxy fit, and I’ve added a split hem and visible raglan seams. I think the balance of the colors, the detail, and the shaping is quite flattering -- but of course there are notes in the pattern to modify this to fit your body and wardrobe.
Pendennis Club is knit from the bottom up. The hem is worked in two pieces, then joined and body is worked in the round to underarm. Sleeves are also worked in the round, separately and joined to body at underarm. The yoke is continued in the round and shaped along raglan seams to neckline. Short row shaping is worked back and forth before adding ribbed collar, which is then finished, again, in the round - to end.
To use up my leftovers from my Pendennis Club sweater, I also designed the Pendennis Club Hat, since I really didn’t want to be done playing with the combination of Kingston and Rockwell.
SO…
Purchase both the Pendennis Club sweater AND the Pendennis Club Hat together for $11, saving $3.50 off the cost separately!!

I suggest 100(100,100,100,100,100)(150,150,150,150) yds 90(90,90,90,90,90)(135,135,135,135)m.
And yes, you could use a third color of Kingston for the accent, instead of using Rockwell.
Note that Kingston and Rockwell are listed as DK weight yarns, but they knit beautifully at this worsted weight gauge. If substituting yarn, be aware that gauge is 5sts/7rounds per 1”.
