A moebius garter stitch cowl, with lace along the edges. The front buttons up, right where the lace ends so the lace sits like a shirt collar around the wearer’s neck. I’ve planned this at a slightly looser gauge than normally used for garter stitch, to create a nice squishy neckwarmer. Since this won’t get a lot of wear, the looser gauge shouldn’t affect the lifespan of the piece. The moebius twist allows the neckwarmer to fold up nicely and fit under the collar of a coat, which the lace edging can lay outside the coat as a decoration.
