This pattern is knit from the bottom up in the round using traditional fair isle motifs and stranded knitting.

The pattern uses 5 colours and requires approximately 100m/20g of the main colour (Navy in the sample shown) and 50m/10g of four contrast colours. You can use the main colour throughout rather than having the bands of the fifth colour, in which case you will need 150m/30g of the main colour.

The pattern is only available in one size which fits an adult head of approx 23”/58cm, if you want to make it slightly smaller or larger you can change needle sizes to work at a tighter or looser tension.
