Piece of Pi
Knit this hat from the top down, starting with a short row circle at the top. This hat moves quickly as you work “bump outs”, stranding and stripes. You can make 3 hats with the yarn for 1!
Materials:
1 skein each of Classic Elite Fresco (60% Wool, 30% Alpaca, 10% Angora) (164 yds/50g), #5318 Bittersweet, #5322 Port Royal, #5335 Peacock Green, #5367 Blue Turquoise, & #5376 Moss.*
- This is enough yarn to make 3 hats. Shown above are the Small in MC #5367 & Medium/Large in MC #5376. The 3rd column below shows the color combination to make either another Small or Medium/Large Hat.
1 16” circular needle, size US 4 (3.5 mm) and 1 16” circular needle, size US 3(3.25 mm)

27 sts to 4 ins in St st Pattern with larger needle
35 rows to 4 ins in St st Pattern with larger needle
Finished Size:
