The little balls of leftover yarn, too small to become their own projects, but too pretty to be thrown away, receive a new purpose with this pattern. Pieces of My Heart Shawl is a great stash buster as it can be made using only leftover yarns, or with mini skeins, or even with full skeins. It’s a fun shawl to knit and the result can be as colorful as you desire, as you can use any number of colors, from 2 to 1000! The pattern is fully adaptable so you can create a shawl as long as you want it to be. It features stripes of garter stitch and simple lace sections. Your creativity will shine as you knit your very own unstructured and unique shawl.

How to pick yarn
You can knit this pattern using a few full skeins of the same length, or leftover yarns from other projects, which would result in several shorter skeins of different length. You can use any yarn weight from lace to worsted, as long as all your yarns have the same gauge.

With fingering weight yarn, a total of approximately 100 g / 400 yards will create a shawlette, and 200 g / 800 yards will create a good size shawl. A larger amount of yarn may create a big shawl that will allow you to be completely wrapped inside.

Pattern includes step by step instructions and a schematic to help you pick up the perfect scrap yarns.

It also includes detailed instructions to work from full skeins. If you’re planning on working from full skeins, I suggest using five to ten skeins of 20g to 50g.

The pictured shawl was made using 15 colors, for a total of approximately 740 yards / 185 g. Colors varied in length from 3 to 170 yards. Its dimensions are 67” (170 cm) wide at top edge by 48” (122 cm) long at final border.

Adaptable shawl
All sections are adaptable (they can be made longer or shorter), and can be repeated as many times as you want. The size of your shawl will be the size you want it to be.

Les petits bouts de fils restants après avoir terminé un projet sont des fragments de notre histoire de tricoteur, histoire remplissant nos coeurs avec des rêves, nos têtes de sagesse, et nos corps de chaleur. Ces petites balles de laine, trop petites pour devenir un projet en entier, mais trop jolies pour s’en départir, trouveront un nouveau sens grâce à ce modèle. Le châle « Fragments de mon coeur » peut être créé en utilisant des restants de laine, des minis écheveaux ou même des écheveaux complets. C’est un projet amusant à tricoter, et le résultat sera aussi coloré que vous le désirez, car il peut être créé avec n’importe quel nombre de couleurs. De plus, le patron permet une grande flexibilité afin d’obtenir un châle aux dimensions voulues.

Comment choisir les coloris
Vous pouvez tricoter ce modèle en utilisant quelques écheveaux complets au métrage fixe, ou des restants de laines provenant d’autres projects, c’est-à-dire plusieurs petites balles aux métrages variés.

Avec du fil à chaussettes, un total d’environ 100 g / 365 m permet de créer un petit châle, alors que 200 g / 730 m crée un châle de grandeur standard. Une plus grande quantité de fil permet de créer un très grand châle pour bien se couvrir. Le prototype a été créé en utilisant environ 185 g / 677 m.

Le patron inclut des instructions pas à pas et un schéma qui vous aidera à choisir les restants de laine parfaits! Il inclut aussi les instructions détaillées pour travailler à partir d’écheveaux complets. Si vous choisissez cette option, je vous conseille d’utiliser des écheveaux de 20 à 50 grammes.

Le prototype a été créé en utilisant 15 coloris, pour un total approximatif de 677 m (740 vg) et 185 g, les coloris ayant chacun une longueur entre 3 et 155 m.

Patron de châle adaptable
Toutes les sections sont adaptables, c’est-à-dire que leur longueur peut varier, et elles peuvent être répétées le nombre de fois voulu. La taille de votre châle sera celle de votre choix.
