Created in honor of the Chinese Year of the Pig, this hat features a parading passel of pigs.
Skill level Intermediate: Skills include working in the round, stranded knitting, reading a chart, and decreases.

Yarn #1 Super fine (sock, fingering) weight. Main Color (MC): 170 (230, 300, 350) yd/155 (210, 275, 320) m; Contrast Color (CC): 20 (25, 35, 40)yd/18 (22, 30, 35) m. Shown in Malabrigo Sock (100% superwash merino wool; approx 440 yd/404 m per 3.5 oz/100 g), MC #036 Pearl, 1 skein; CC #136 Sabiduria, 1 skein.
Needles US Size 1 (2.25 mm) in preferred style for small circumference knitting in the round. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers, removable markers if tacking brim (optional), tapestry needle.
Gauge 32 sts and 46 rows = 4” in St st or stranded patt. Measure gauge on blocked swatch.
