Piilopirtti Socks

Story behind the Piilopirtti Wool Socks
Cottages in a row on a shore, a light comes on in one window. Far from the noise of the world, I watch the gentle movement of the trees, as if they are saying ”Everything will be alright.” I sit down to knit wool socks, and think about the mysteries of the world.

Piilopirtti sock pattern is written for Magic Loop technique, but you can also use DPNs (in that case divide the stitches to four needles.) The two socks are knitted simultaneously, either using two knitting needles or a long cable needle. This way both socks are finished at the same time!
