The second project in Haberdash Couture’s NO TEARS, ONLY SQUARES (TM) Pattern Series is a lovely little felted keepsake pouch.

It’s the perfect way to create something so beautiful while you are still perfecting your garter stitch. If your stitches still seem a little wonky, do not fret. Felting it into a nice firm fabric does the trick--everything blends in! You will be amazed as to how your knitting shrinks into a beautiful thick fabric, which you can fold, cut and embellish. This is a quick little project as it is made from one rectangle using size 6mm needles are used (2 sizes up from recommended on ballband).

Add a little vintage embroidered tree blooming with hearts and a few flower buttons -- well you’ve got the perfect little pouch to declare: “I love you forever! -- Pinky Promise!”
