The Positive Vibe Wrap is an easy made wrap that can be made in two sizes – a small and a large wrap! You find charts for both sizes in this pattern.

This is a wrap full of positive vibes, so use colours that make you happy! Make a playful wrap with stripes in different colours, or use colour blocks, or make it in your favorite solid colour, or perhaps use a lovely variegated yarn?

Small wrap:100g yarn, fingering weight, 2X (50g/200 m/218 yd), hook size 4.0 mm - 4.5 mm.

Large wrap: 200g yarn, fingering weight, 4X (50g/200m/218 yd), hook size 4.0 mm - 4.5 mm.

The small wrap is 170 cm long, and the large wrap 190 cm.

You can make The Positive Vibe Wrap in any kind of yarn you like (acrylic, merino, alpaca). Perhaps you have a yarn with a mix of silk or bamboo for that extra shiny look? It also makes the knit stitch pop!

I made my large wrap using 4 skeins (4 x 50g/200m/218 yd) of #osloull from Oslo Mikrospinneri, a Norwegian yarn makery. The yarn has a mix of 90% wool and 10% silk. The silk gives a soft and luxurious feeling.

For the small wrap I used one skein of hand dyed Bamboo Silk Merino (65% merino, 20% bamboo and 15% silk) (100g/400m/437 yd) from Uniqgarn.no (a local indie yarn shop).

If you want a larger wrap, you can use sport or DK yarn weight. I recommend using a larger hook than normal to get a nice drape.
