Pot Pet Kitty is an adorable little cat wearing a flower bonnet and peaking out from the inside of a pot.

The pattern is easy and uses US terms. A knowledge of how to crochet is essential as it does not teach you how to crochet, it simply provides instructions to make the toy.

I have used thin yarn – using a thicker yarn will make a larger toy. You may wish to stuff the legs and tail slightly when using a thicker yarn.

Your tension, yarn thickness and hook size used will affect the size of your finished item. My Pot Pet Kitty is approx. 9cm wide and 13cm tall when assembled. The Kitty itself is 10cm tall.

You will need:

2.2mm hook/B-1 4ply yarns/Fingering or Sport > 25g of CHARCOAL and BLUE, less than 25g of PINK, YELLOW, BEIGE and GREEN BLACK and WHITE 4ply yarn or embroidery thread A pair of 9mm safety eyes Scissors Tapestry needle Polyester toy stuffing Stitch marker (optional)

Notes:

• Amigurumi is usually worked in the round and a yarn with no stretch is best.
• Generally, the hook you use for amigurumi will be a smaller than for other crochet as you want the stitches tight.
