Prafulla beanie
Prafulla in Sanskrit means blooming and delighted, the way a blossoming flower cheers the dullest environment.
Prafulla is a stranded colourwork beanie made with fingering weight/4 ply yarn. It uses 2 colours with the main colour being used throughout the knitting process and also is the dominant colour. You can choose the colours of your choosing which delights you and can go up a needle size or down a needle size to fit your preferred head circumference.
Size: The beanie measures 20”-21”(51cms-54cms) in circumference and 8.75”(22cms) in length with US 2/ 2.75mm needles.
For bigger or smaller size beanie, smaller(2.5mm) or larger size(3mm) needle can be used.
Gauge in pattern or stranded stockinette: 34 sts and 36 rows in 4”(10cms).
Yarn and yardage: Knit Picks palette in 2 colours have been used.
Main colour(Mauve): 97 mtrs/106yds.
Contrast colour(White): 85 mtrs/92yds.
