Proscenium
Proscenium: the wall that separates the stage in a theatre from the auditorium, providing the arch that frames it.
Tweaking traditional cables to create a contemporary garment this pattern uses long lines of rope cables which gently transition into a variation of a Staghorn cable at the yoke.
The lower body has a slight trapeze shape with a fitted yoke for the upper section. The slim-line sleeves feature the larger cable at the cuff which transitions into the rope cable for the remainnder of the sleeve.
The lines of cables, reminiscent of curtains being drawn up to reveal the players, leads the eye up, where a mock turtle neck snuggles the neck and frames the face.
Functional side buttoning is added for extra detail.
