The Rainbow Short is worked from top to bottom with a single
lurex thread. It is knitted in the round, in stockinette stitch on
circular needles.
You will start your work with a provisional cast-on using a
hook. Then, you will have to knit a few rows, and insert an elastic into the waistband.
